Wow, what a lineup!

The 23 club is where I played my first professional gig as a steel player. Great place, with a great history.

For those of you going, get Bobby to tell about the time that Jimmy Day and Buddy Emmons dropped in to see him at the 23 club in the early 60s.

Dan,I sure will ask Bobby about that one. Vance Terry used to like telling the one about Buddy coming in there to see him as well.

Dan, I re-tell that story every couple of years to somebody. An all time classic in my book.

What time does the music start? By coincidence I'll be passing through that area on Sunday and would love to catch a set!

Wow, this sounds like a real blast! Dayna has the voice of an angel, and for those who haven't met Johnny Cuvielo yet (Bob Wills' drummer - for real!) he's one live wire that could be a life lesson for each and everyone of us who might think we're getting too old to pick and grin Smile

I've got a gig, or I'd be there with bells on!

Billy, tell Dayna I said "Hi", and "break a leg!"

I've seen conflicting information on the time. Is it 3 or 4 PM downbeat?

This was a great event at a great club. If they're starting a mailing list, add my name. Here's a picture of the band.

Thanks Scott. Cool photo!! If you go to Youtube and put in "Cotton pickers Mitch Polzak" you can see a clip of one of the songs from last night. I think Bobby's got his dobro simulator for this rock and roll tune. Alot of "Holy Ghost" moments at this one!!
