Check out my newest guitar made by Jeff Surratt. I'm thinking he may have out done his self this time, for sure! I believe it is the prettiest steel I've laid eyes on & probably the best sounding I've laid eyes on (Ha Ha). God has sure Blessed me and the Steel Guitar Community w/Jeff Surratt and Show Pro Steel Guitars.
Be Blessed,
Robby Turner

Beautiful guitar, Robby. I'll bet it sounds good too! I know the tobacco burst Show Pro that you played here at Fulton last year sure sounded good! |

Might be a bit early, but does it sound different than the Emmons and Zum you play (played) so superbly? _________________ Emmons D-10 P/P 78", Franklin D-10, Zum Encore. Sho-Bud LDG |

As for tone, I have been loving my 1st Show Pro (Lloyd Green Mdl) for recording/live. One of the 1st records I played on after p/u of the first one was Jamey Johnson's single of "In Color". I have to say this new guitars tone is at least 25 - 30% better. Now that's not taking anything away from the 1st guitar, but this one is just feeling so good, I hate to put it down (maybe a good time to work on my chop). When i first started playing these gtrs, I told Jeff I had never heard sustain on any wood neck gtr like the Show Pro and I testify even more so today. You can get right up in Hughey Land (the best place to be) and the depth and separation of each string speaks. Note to Jeff; If you keep building the steel guitars better each time, I won't know what to do. Totally Awesome. BTW; I'll be posting some mp3s of this beauty on my website sometime next week on the Sound Clip Page @: www.robbyturnermusic.com
Thanks! Robby Turner |

Robby, that is a very pretty guitar built by a great guy. Jeff helped me out of a jam with some inlay recently. I too love that blue.
