Does anybody here have the software for this conversion? If so, would you convert one file for me? Thanks in advance.

Charley:

I think that is a video file, not an audio file??

I don't think NCH makes anything that will work on video files, but I could be wrong.

Look at this for an application that will do it:

I wrote a tutorial on using ffmpeg with a Windows frontend. ffmpeg is a program that can convert most kinds of media to most others. But it's a console app so unless you want to learn the commands you're better off using it with a frontend.

Anyway I don't think anyone found it particularly useful Very Happy but it's how I do my conversion and maybe it will give you some ideas

iTunes, a free app for Windows or Mac, can convert WAVs, AIFFs and M4V (MPEG-4 video) to MP3. Just set your import settings preference to MP3, add the M4V files to the library, right-click on the tune and select "Create MP3 Version." It'll then live right next to the original M4V version.

If you need to move it somewhere, right click and select "Show in Finder" to grab the actual file and move it as needed. I do that when moving songs from desktop to laptop via a flash drive.

A few steps, but very reliable.
