I purchased this amp in June and had a new Black Widow speaker installed. I also had it checked out before I used it. I really like this amp. I'm selling it because I'm tired of carrying two amps for my gig and I just can't afford to keep it. It's got that vintage Session tone and it is at least an "8" cosmetically.(it traveled in a flight case) I'm reducing it to $350.00 plus shipping.(Continental US only)and will accept PayPal. The pics are below.

The prior owner felt like it was not working as it should.(I think he felt like it was distorting a little). I agreed to purchase the amp less the speaker and had the new BW installed.

Hey Martin, Sorry to see ya have to let this baby go. Sad It's a sweet amp for sure, and at a give-away price!!.

I know this amp, because I sold it to Marty, and it's an awesome Session 400--real clean all the way to the top. I pulled the JBL because it had some high end distortion when cranked. Upon examining the speaker, I found it was reconed with off brand parts. But the amp was fabulous when I used my other K130's. Woody Woodel has that Peavey JBL in his recone shop to get it fixed.

So here's a bump for Marty and a great amp at a great price.

Wake up folks!! It don't get no sweeter than this deal!!

Thanks for the help James!! Like I told you when I purchased it from you, "I've always wanted one," but it's just not practical to carry two amps--and having two kids in college--dictates that I scale down and clear out the back room.

This is a great sounding amp. Can't beat the price. Works out to 1.75 per watt of pure counrty sound. Plated a couple gigs with this amp while Ken Fox had mine. Had that nice warm tone with sweet highs.

Thanks for the testimimony Danny!! BTW, I used it on the Bonus track on our last CD---pure country song with the amp for the job.
