Indeed a good meeting. I get a lot of valuable info and learning from the teaching segment and I liked the way Billy Phelps approached the teaching segment. This club has the musicians to share that measure of material. If we could get at least a good 20 minutes of teaching, that would be of great benefit to all. |

Thanks, Jody, Billy, and Patty! Great meeting. I was glad to see so many players, not to mention the increase of the number of listeners. Time just went by too fast. It was nice to meet Wayne Turner, who I understand played with Hank, Jr. for many years. I sure know why...he is awesome, both his guitar work and his singing. It's always a pleasure to play behind Leighan. If you don't have her CD, you should get it. (It has some great steel work in it.) She just won the Female Vocalist of the Year for western swing. Check her out on YouTube. I'm looking forward to December!!

Jody, I had a great time. Sure enjoyed seeing all the steel brothers in one place. Always learning new things. I'm glad Wayne Turner was able to make it. He's a great singer and guitar player. Thanks to Billy and Patty for making everything work and Billy, the teaching segment was a great help to us. I know that took a lot of work putting it together. Thanks a million. _________________ Emmons LeGrande II SD-10 4x6
