I really hate to do this but the baby needs new shoes.
I am offering up for sale my D-10 Fulawka. As you are all aware, this really is the Cadillac of pedal steel guitars. It is hand made in Canada by Ed Fulawka. The guitar is absolutely like new.

It is equipped with 9 foot pedals and 8 knee levers.
However, if you are not familiar with the crossover system that Eddie has for the right knees, this makes it equivalent to 10 knee levers.

I bought the guitar from Al Brisco in Canada.
After receiving the guitar I got together with Eddie on the parts and added the 9th foot pedal and two additional knee levers for the C6th neck.

I don't know what the wait is on a new Fulawka, at present, but this like new guitar is available NOW for $4,795 plus shipping.
I really don't care about shipping outside the USA.
Thanks,
Erv

Wow, Erv!!! Yours is a beauty. It looks like my Fulawka(an S-12) might look to me if I drank a quart of whiskey and was seeing double. Boy howdy, somebody is gonna be happy when they buy yours. If someone would buy all my steels and get me close enough to buy yours I could buy yours and finally be telling my beautiful bride that I have "the last one I'll ever need" and really mean it this time.
Best of luck on the sale.
Duncan

I really have mixed feelings about letting one of Eddie's creations go.
Eddie really feels like he is giving birth when he creates one of these beauties and it really isn't fair for me to keep it to myself, that's the reason I'm letting it go. Very Happy

This is one of the most beautiful steel guitars ever offered on the forum. Everytime Erv posted a photo of it in the past I just admired it so much. Beautiful instrument!

Bill,
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Eddie really puts his heart and soul into every guitar he builds.
When you examine one of his creations, you can just see the time and effort he puts into all the parts of the guitar.
He makes all the parts except for the tuning keys.
He even builds the two piece case that the guitar comes in.
I understand that there is an approximately 5 years wait on a new order.

Hi Erv. I can relate to your hesitance to part with this beauty. Fulawkas are great guitars! On the other hand, it's good that there are Fulawkas for sale every once in a while.

I was very close to purchasing this particular guitar from Al Brisco, but never managed to make a decision. And then you bought it and took that indecisiveness off my chest. Luckily, for me, Ricky Davis' blue Fulawka showed up some months later and that time I did not hesitate.

The new owner will surely get a fine instrument.
