The country duo "Furl & Husky"
Since I got so tired of hearing distorted guitar sounds, I've sometimes called myself "Max Twang." I've also used "Justin Ulpherdt."
My organist buddy and sometimes music partner for many years worked a duo with a very slim drummer: "Thick & Thin." When they added an athleticly built guitarist/trumpeter, it became "Thick, Thin & Chunky." Everyone knew him as "Thick." So when we formed a duo, we adopted my suggestion of "Old Rascals." But an old fan of his said we should be called "Thick & Rich." I said, "No. People would think we were a milkshake."
One time Garrison Keillor credited one of his writers as "Xavier Onassis" |

Then maybe you've found an answer.
"...on steel we have Mr. Nothing."
After you've established fame and fortune it could become...
"...and here on steel we have Bo Legg, previously known as Mr. Nothing." |

I sometimes use the nom de plume "Luke Drifter" which is very close, of course, to someone else's non de plume. No-one has ever hauled me up on it yet, though, so I continue to use it.
I am a part of a collective known as "The Funk and Country Liberation Co-operative". We play once or twice a year. |

My buddie toured with a top 40 group in the late seventies, and when outside of his home state of California, he was known as he "Stingbean McThirsty".
Of course at Disneyland in the Horseshoe Theather
"Billie Hill and the Hillbillies" have performed for years. Great musicians.
I always thought that "Chuck Wagon" would be a good name for a C&W lead singer.

When japanese steeler Katzahiko Kobyashi played with Marty Robbins back in the 70s. Marty would introduce him with a rather lengthy story about his coming to America. Then say, here he is...Bob Wilson.
Well, you kinda had to be there.
