Does anybody know what's up at Emmons?....been trying to email there, but keep on getting 'Out of office' returns.
I've ordered and paid for stuff and would like to know when I can expect delivery... Confused

Thanks, Mike. My 1970 D10 PP is lying on its back, waiting for changer parts..... so you can imagine I'm rather anxious to get her up and running.. Very Happy
Like you said, patience is needed!

I had an order in for a little over two and a half weeks and it arrived today. They seem to be a bit slow but they will deliver the goods. Had it not been for the holiday yesterday I think it would have been a couple days sooner.

Nic, it's good to know you're a fellow Emmon's man! I should have known that because your steel sounds so good on our gospel programs on steelradio.com. It was a real pleasure getting to meet you in St. Louis a year ago. We missed seeing you this past convention. I had a 1976 PP and I had it for over 20 years. Now I have a Lashley III...I got it new back in '98. It took me a while to get aquainted with it but I'm well satisfied with it now. I think the pedals on the PP are better than this one I have now. They do OK on the E9, but I have trouble finding the pedals on the C6. I'm having a problem teaching my new shoes how to play. I thought I was the only one having a problem like that but I've found out others have their favorite pair of shoes they always wear to play the steel. Sure hope your order comes in soon. They've always been prompt with the orders I've sent!!

Thanks guys, for the vote of confidence in Emmons. I have no doubt that Emmons will make good on their word.... But it would be nice if your supplier remembers to keep us in the loop as to the status of our orders.
Jerry,
Good hearing from you again. Yeah, I've always been an Emmons man. However, if I had to buy again, I reckon the new Mullins G2 will be hard to beat. I did a test drive on one at last year's St Louis convention, and was really blown away.
I've managed to find some sneakers with non-slip thin soles. When I wear boots my feet tend to slip off the pedals, and they also constricts my ankles. By wearing thin soled shoes I can 'feel' the pedals without having to constantly look down at the pedals. Give my regards to Venda.
Regards,
Nic
