OK all you stealers and stealerettes, it's that time of the month--time for our jam. I would like to list all the top nationally know players that are NOT confirmed to attend, but the list would be to long.

So I think we will be able to work anyone who shows up a spot to play a few.

Last month our guitar player Skip Ellis and drummer Gordon Perry both had a senior moment and forgot which week it was. Both are confirmed to show up this month! (We'll see)

Beat 'cha Blake

Clyde and uh, uh, oh yea, Tom

Uh...Dave, I guess that means we need to add you to
the list of big name players who have confirmed that they will not be there. It's a pretty big list
but you are near the top.. Smile Smile

Phil-Are you having a senior moment? Our jam is always the 3rd Tues of each month (except Dec). I know because I struggle with some of your song choices. (I need the chalange!)

Dave- We'll be looking for you at the Jan. meeting. Oh , by the way, you have been added to the "nationally know steelers list"!

Nick- We'll have a great jam without you. It should be pointed out that we would have a super-duper jam if you were to attend (with your brothers [inside joke]).

Just can't wait to start loading all that equipment for the jam. Must be a labor of love.

Thanks to all that support the Manasota Steel Guitar Club in any and all ways!

Especially (W4MOP) Danny Hammers in keeping our web-site on line.

Clyde (WB4GLI) and Tom

OK Phil, as I noted to you this evening, I suspect you were pointing out that I should inform the uninformed masses of our meeting. Maybe I should stay out of posts and let Blake do the honors!!

Anyway, tonight was lightly supported. That means that Blake, Phil and Fred got their fill of playing.
Hope they enjoyed the evening as much as Tom and I did.

Fred Knight is a regular in attendence but has never performed. That changed tonight as we set him up with a microphone for his Dobro and vocal. He was a hit. (Also played bass)

Gordon Perry (Drums & vocal)was under the weather and had to leave early.

Gordon's wife Doris sang a couple of songs and was a hit with the fans and band. (We all helped her load the drums).

Skip filled out the band with his great lead guitar pickin'. (Did I mention Tom playing rythum guitar?)

Tom sang a few for our enjoyment.

THANKS to Charles Hulen for running the video camera.

Hope to see more of you next month!

Clyde and Tom (I get my name first because I have the account)
