The word from the organizer is that Lester Peabody--great steeler and guitarist from Finland-- will be giving a steel clinic on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 18, as part of the Colonel's Super Dooper Guitar Party, Oct. 16-18, at the German Club, 78 Carter Ave Pawtucket, RI 02861.

Thanks, Carty. OK, this just in -- Johnny Maguire, the organizer of The Colonel's Super Dooper Guitar Party, says the Lester Peabody (Jussi) steel clinic will be around 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 and he encourages non-pedal steelers to "Bring steel guitars for display or buy, sell, trade. It is a guitar show! Anything steel guitar related! Frankie (Blandino) will hopefully be bringing his bigsby and others too. Thanks, Johnny"
