SD-10, 3 + 5, with flag on RKR, Splits, Two tone Burled Beech and Black. I believe this guitar was built in 2007. Gary told me he played it for some jobs that summer then sold it. It is technically a Nashville rebuild but as you can see it is all new but the end plates. Not a scratch or a ding. Some swirl marks on the black from polishing. Zero issues. Brand new Justice case and D2F leg bag. Never been out of the house. $1,850.00 plus shipping and insurance. 208 755-9571 if you have questions.

Jim

Gorgeous!
Jim, is the tone comparable to most other modern steel guitars?

Hey Rick:

I sure think so but my opinion could sure be challenged as a seller. I would suggest you do a search for "Rittenberry" in the Pedal Steel section. There are quite a few threads commenting on the consistant tone of Gary's steels. Once you read the comments you may also want to ask for some feed back via PM. Thanks for your interest and comment. Had some gigs at the Claremont Hotel in the 70's and 80's. Nice view off the hill.

This guitar was custom built for me in 2007 only traded it in to get Gary to build me a D-10. She sounds every bit as good as my new one. If it stays on here long enough for me to sell something off I just might buy it back.

Hey Daniel you ole Cajun. I was pretty sure you had this guitar built but wasn't certain so I didn't put it in my listing. I am sick about loosing her but I am struggling to hold on to the house. Business up here in North Idaho is non existent. Pretty rough. If I ever get to Eunice again I'll buy you dinner at D.I.'s

Thanks for the post partner.

Hey Casey:

Thank you for your support and endorsement. Gary, through hard work, experience, and character has become an exceptional artist with what he creates. When the economy loosens its grip on me I will absolutely seek out another Rittenberry.

Heavy enough to have super tone. I'm not kidding about that . If I remeber correctly it weighes as much as A D-10 Carter in a really good case. About 62 to 64 lbs in the case if I remeber right'

This guitar has the heavier Nashville LTD end plates Keyhead and neck which made it somewhat heavier than the new Ritt Gary is building since mid 2007. Adding 20+ lbs for a darn good Justice case and I'm not far off. Some of you guy's is plum jealous that I can eat shrimp and gumbo anytime I want. Very Happy Laughing

By the way If the truth be known. I'd eat that green Gator if I could ever catch him napping.

Another bump for this beautiful creation by Gary! I wouldn't care if this guitar weighed-in at a ton, it would just improve the tone. Anything Gary touches is pure magic. Someone needs to buy this guitar!

Greg, you need to buy it so you don't have to come back to look at it! If I didn't have my Rittenberry, I'd buy it for sure.
