I wonder why this listing would have no serial number?

Gordon, it's very common to not post serial numbers on Ebay. Someone can use that information to claim it was stolen.

Idea They could do the same here. Never really thought about it. Surprised But to make a case. They would still have to have proof they once owned it.But then phoney papers are produced every day. Whoa!

Being a Millennium III, that's a pretty new one. The older Millenniums (first year of manufacture) can be identified by an open keyhead.

Lee good point. It is just that it is being sold by
used instrument warehouse. I just wonder how such a specialized item would end up there.
