Sorry for the delay. I'm using an unfamiliar MacBook which has neither PhotoShop nor Elements. I did a little cropping in iPhoto and decided I'd better quit with that while I was ahead and up load the pics and quit trying to juggle the order (and in the process, risk losing some of the pics.) All 6 appear, although not in any order, like most to least important, etc.
Pics show this raised up 2" (i.e., PVC pipe spacers on front legs.) I plan to return this to normal height unless buyer wants it left as we see it here. _________________ "Gopher, Everett?" |

Ben, looks like that number 5 roller is bent to the side. Do you ever have any issues with it returning to pitch? Those BMIs have a really small diameter rod holding all of those fingers. The BMI that I had a few years back needed the rod replaced, as it was allowing one of the fingers to turn sideways and cut into the rod. Mine was the 3rd G# though. Here is what I'm talking about in your second photo:

That "number 5 roller" that looks "bent to the side" could be just the nylon/plastic washer which sits to the left of the #5 roller and the rest of the guitar. I noticed while replacing a part on my BMI once, if that washer wears out or isn't put back in....this happens. The roller stays straight if it sits where it is supposed with a washer on each side, but lose one or have it wear out and fall out over time and this happens. Of course a tighter shot from underneath (like the other photos) would help too.
BMI still sells the parts and nylon washers think they're like 10 cents each at BMI website...nothing to deter one from buying this, even if you need other parts, BMI has them...this is a heck of a deal as this guitar is worth closer to $900 in my book!
