Ronnie's 24th Annual Steel Show is now History. Ronnie and Faye Neighbors were great host and provided a wonderful theater for this event. Some of the finest Artists in the country played at this show. We were blessed by Ronnie, Herby Wallace, John Hughey, Rudy Osborne, Louie Hallford, Ken Williams, Jerry and Austin Stewart, Rob Parker (Also M.C.), Jerry Roller, Henry Matthews, Jack Matthews, Buck Grantham, Janet Lynn, Junior Knight, Bobby Garrett and Russ Hicks, & Wayne Smith. Roy Rosetta was there after his recent Surgery and never sounded better, and I imagine that was because of the great care by Barbara. David Bass on Drums, Bob Dell and Ben Brogdon on Bass and great vocals by Rob Parker, Everett Neighbors, Carlene Roller, Donna Newberry, Janice Williams and Daughter, and the great Laney Hicks. THANKS TO ALL THE ARTIST AND THE WONDERFUL FOLKS WHO ATTENDED MAKING IT A VERY PLEASANT EVENT AND EXPERIENCE. YOU ARE APPRECIATED.
Wayne

We want to give Ronnie & Faye a very special thanks for opening their doors for another steel guitar show and also thanks to Rev.Wayne Smith in helping put the show together. As we know it takes alot of hard long hours putting these shows together.Ronnie Neighbors new CD called,
"My Favorite Things" is really good, listened to it coming home. There were so many great and wonderful artist there and Ray had fun and a great time getting to play & listen to such a special group of guys & gals and is'nt that what it's all about,is having fun! Watch out Jerry, your grandson is on top of things Austin you keep up the good work! The MC(Rob Parker),the backup band and vocals sure did a wonderful job and Roy it was so good seeing you there and may you remain in good health and you are in our prayers.Like we said, everyone sounded so good and did a wonderful job,but we did have a special highlight this year and I believe this was their first year at Ronnie's and that was Russ & Laney Hicks.Really really enjoyed their set and Laney singing.Laney you're the best, such a beautiful person and your smile is so sweet. Also listened to your new CD "Matters Of The Heart" coming home today and loved every song on there and John Hughey's CD "Pure E9th" is awesome too. There were so many good CD's and it's hard to choose, kinda like having your hand in a candy jar.Well we just wanted to say thanks from the bottom of our hearts how we appreciate everyone and we love ya'll have a great and safe holidays.....

We would like to thank Ronnie for inviting us again this year. Janice and I really had a good time. You all always make us feel so welcome. We thought all the pickers did a superb job.
I would like to say a special thanks to Ray for providing the little surprise(snake) for me. I'm already in the early planning stages of some counter measures.
Well, not really. Just kidding Ray.

It was a real good show and the backup band played exceptionally well with my Cuz, Roy Rosetta , Ben Brogden ,David Bass and Russ Hicks who played guitar on my set. Couldn't ask for more. We had a blast. On my last set Ronnie played guitar. Its always nice when the band plays better that you do. I been playing that show ten years and it's like home to Mitzi and I .

It was mine and Russ' first time to play at Ronnie's; we'd been hearing about the "Hot Springs Show" for a long time. What a nice big music store, and perfect side room stage area and seating for what was, to me, one of the most responsive audiences we've ever played to. Everything about the show was #1, including our 1:30 to 3:30am IHOP breakfast gatherings both nights we were there. Ronnie Neighbors is a fine HARD WORKING man (Faye, his wife didnt seem to sit down very much either)and he's also a "real deal" steel player! We had a really good time and hope to get to put this one back on our calendar again.
Thanks to everyone involved!
Laney and Russ

Thanks Ronnie and Faye for a great time. All the pickers did a great job and really enjoyed Laney and Russ Hicks. My first time to hear either of them. The back up band was really great also and Roy, so glad you could make it. Thanks again and looking forward to next year already.----Henry
