Practise Headphones

What brand or type of head phones to practise with would you advise ? I want the powered kind that does not require a pre amp. Thanks, Bill.

Hey Bill, I use SONY dynamic stereo head phones and the work great. Wal Mart has them for around $20.00 I can plug them in me Evans SE-200, Nashville 1000 or into mt line 6 pod, kills the amp sound and you can hear every pick you do...Ron
