When I started out in music, a radio show was 'the norm'. First we had to go to the radio station but later, they came to the bandstand. Since then, I've played on over 28 stations. Then came television; I've played on some 5 local television stations. Then records hit the scene; have done just one session but later made three CD's.
What would you include in your resume'? |

The first radio experience I had was in 57 in Columbus Ga. Had a little 50's rock band and caught the eye of a guy named Dick Weiss,He was the top dog rock DJ in town. We recorded on his label[NU-CLEAR] record. He did a live hour show every Sat AM from the stage of the Bradley Theater on broad in Columbus Ga. Our Little band [THE PLANETS] were always the headliners.Of course he promoted us because we were on HIS label. Had maybe two thousand screaming pony tailed bobby sockers every Sat AM. this lasted about a year.JEEPERS,CREEPERS,Those were the days.
