An old friend of mine, Carlue Bordelon, is looking for an old Fender double neck or triple neck (preferred) non-pedal steel if anyone has one for sale at a reasonable price or knows where one is (condition of the guitar doesn't have to be excellent).

At 80 years old, Carlue has "retired" from pedal steel and wants one of the old Fender non-pedal guitars to play around on, but can't afford anything expensive (which is why the guitar doesn't need to be a specimen in mint or excellent condition).

Carlue doesn't have internet, so I told him I'd place a post on here to see if anything happens to turn up. Smile

You won't find a better deal than this, or a better guy to deal with. Cool

Jim,

I have a '56 dual 6 22 1/2" scale (stringmaster) I'd be willing to part with.

Email me for details.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies ... I'll definitely be contacting Carlue today to let him know there are some guitars available.

Please feel free to email me with details and prices and I'll pass all of that to Carlue and see what he wants to do. Smile

Again, thanks to each of you for replying and here's hoping that Carlue soon finds himself behind a steel again. Smile

With warmest regards, and God bless each of you,

Jim
