My prayers for the family. Kitty Wells was my "idol" growing up as a young girl and still is to this day. I never have gotten to meet her or see her but I can "try" to sing all of her songs from memory. Pee Wee King & his wife Lydia were good friends with Kitty & Johnny. I could never find "
Gathering Flowers for the Master's Bouquet" so when Pee Wee met with them again for an awards program, he asked her and she sent me the CD with it on. I was so honored. Having lost a son myself, I know how hard it is to loose a child. God's Blessings Kitty & Johnny....from a long time fan. Laurie |
