I heard a tune the other day call My Bank Account is Gone from Jesse Ashlock and there was a non pedal steel player just bouncing that bar all over the place. I won't take a guess but I bet somebody here knows who that is.

That was done Dec. 11, 1947 with Curly Cochran on steel.

This was about the time Curly was playing the Clubs on Pico Blvd. just south of Downtown Los Angeles. I remember Curly playing at the Fargo Club at night and Bartending in the daytime. Curly was ahead of most of us un L.A. and was looked up to as a mentor and was really a great guy.
