I've never seen Sarah play C6th. I bet she burns it up.

What are the gauges of these sets, Danny?

Hi Bob. The gauges for Sarah's C6th sets are .012 .014 .017 .020 .024W .030 .036 .042 .054 .070. All her sets are Stainless Steel.

I haven't seen Sarah play any C-6th either, although I'm sure she certainly can. However, since Sarah is an Artist/Endorser for Mullens, we decided to make an Artist set for her for C-6th in the same gauges that Mullen uses as Jagwire O.E.M. sets.

We're very proud to have Sarah with us!

My oh My! With all those choices of Jagwire Strings, it's sure hard to decide which set to use. Guess I should just order the set that has my favorite Steel Player's picture on the package.
Oh well, since I don't play well enough to get my own JAGWIRE endorsement, think I'll just stick to using Ed Nayor's ole reliable SGW's. To me, they sound just as good. No real noticable difference in the quality, and they seem to give me as many good playing hours between changes as those high priced jobs. It's nifty to be thrifty

Welcome Sarah!
I'm sure you will be pleased with Jagwire strings. I've been using Jagwire strings since the company started. Consistantly fine strings.

Last year, when Sarah was in St. Louis, she did a clinic in the Peavey room, which I attended. She then had her D10 and someone noticed that the pedal rods were not connected on the C6 neck and asked her why not. She said, "I don't use that neck and we have used parts from it to repair the E9 neck. Not to diminish her talent. She can get enough out of the E9 neck that no one notices.

I met and heard Sarah last January at the SW steel Guitar show in Mesa Arizona. She hung out and picked in the Mullen room to warm up and have a little fun. Her set was a real pleasure to hear and to see a steel guitarist smile, laugh, grunt, and sing all while she played the fire out of her steel. She is a showgirl on steel. IMHO she has the ability to present the instrument to a wider audience than most of us who spend most of our time on steel serving "The Singer" She seems to love the pickers who back up her show and gave real heartfelt acknowlegment to her "Bond" as she called them. I beleive she will take her place among the greats at some point in her life if she will just keep on a pickin.

I first met sarah about 15years ago when she played the Glasgow Grand ole oprey, she played her EMCI and I felt that she was definately in the "Elite" class at that time.I have seen her several times since then and she just gets better.
I am glad she is endorsing Jagwires,I have been using them for some time now and they are amazingly good.
I will be seeing Sarah in a couple of weeks at the Irish PSG show in Drogheda and I know she will be as charming as ever.
Best regards
Billy

Even though I am not a well know Player like Sarah or Tommy White I also have started using the Jagwire Strings and I have to say they are lasting a lot longer than what I used before not to mention any names.RS

Sarah,

Welcome to the Jagwire Family! I've been a fan for many years, not just of your steel guitar prowess, but your ability as an entertainer.

Your Jagwires will serve you very well, and I just wish you continued success!

Best Wishes,

Thanks Ricky. It seems that Nick totally missed the issue here. The "theme" of this post was "Welcoming Sarah Jory" NOT price and product comparison at the "thrift store"

To all the rest of you, and our many esteemed artists/endorsers, a heart-felt thank you from myself and Sarah.

Very nice, congratulations Sarah.

I wonder what the relative string gauges are vs Ricky's Sho-Bud sets.

Ricky you take a good picture, but I would MUCH rather have Sarah's picture popping ot of my steel case come string changing time!

Ricky,
At least you got a set with your picture on em. I couldn't get Mr. Hullihen to do a set with my picture.
I'm so ugly they have to use my Dog's picture instead of mine. Ha Ha!

Just switched to Jagwire strings and I love them. They came with a nice picture on the front, but nothing like that. Now I think maybe I should buy some more.
