I had a call for this date and can't do it. The gig is Dessau Hall in North Austin (Pflugerville?) and pays $100 bux. The band is Cheyenne, some young guys with lots of energy, and they cover some old, but also a lot of top-40 country tunes, and probably a rocker or two. It is NOT a traditional country gig, but they're a nice bunch of guys, solid rhythm section, and there is usually a pretty big crowd of dancers.
Sound and lights are provided by the house, just show up and play. Probably need to be comfortable with winging it a bit and finding keys in the dark, as these guys tend to call songs on the fly and just dive in. You won't have to know 'parts', just stretch a bit and do your thing.
If you don't want to crank it up and join the fray, this is not the gig for you, but if you want to cut loose a bit PM me for details and I'll connect you with the band leader. _________________ Lost Pines Studio
