My son is now playing through a large, bulky Alesis amp which is fine but he recently borrowed a Peavey KB 300 which did as well and smaller to haul around. Would that maybe be as good as possible or are there others that may be as small or smaller and still have the "punch" ? Light use, twice a month, country music in senior center. Thanks, Bill. |

You might try a Peavey PR15D. It's a powered PA speaker with a 15" woofer and a horn. Lightweight, compact and relatively inexpensive for a powered cab. They also make a PR12D with a 12" woofer and a horn. |
