This is a rare May Bell(faux) resonator guitar, it's technical name is the "Cathedranola" model. This one sat in a attic for the last 60 years or so, till the other day when it came home with me, it's a 00 size guitar, very rare, and in nice condition, there is a little gap at the neck body joint, but the action is for Dobro style playing any way, nice clean 60 or 70 year old antique guitar. Come with the original antique soft case, old slide bar , picks, and hand woven strap ,just as it was put away 70 years ago... .. $295.00
. plus shipping based on buyers zip code in the lower 48...,USA SHIPPING ONLY.. Pay Pal is accepted. e-mail lucybobkat@yahoo.com

No Joe, thus a "FAUX" resonator, still has a sound resembling a dobro, but I guess it was cheap way to hvae a Dobro in the 30's, this must have cost $14.00 and a Dobro ran a whopping $37.00...a lot of money in the 30's... a penny saved is a penny earned!!! Still very rare, EXTREMLY CLEAN, and a real conversation piece...Thanks |

Bob I noticed that a number of these had Koa laminate bodies. Is this one or some other wood?
thanks
