I think I had to miss this one last year. At least that's what I recall. Anyone remember seeing me there? I was out of town that week and it's possible I will be this year again, but I hope to make it.

See you in St. Louis tomorrow folks.

It looks like ya'll are going to have all the fun up there listening to everyone but the part I would miss the most would be Laney. If Russ would blister pack their CD'S a fortune could be made. The girl can sing! Maybe I will be able to attend next year and hear my old friend Joe Adams pick.

I plan on being there. Will be great to see Wayne. Question?---- Should I bring an old MULTI-KORD or something from my memorabilia collection?? I could bring Jeff Newman's old D12 or Paycheck old FINGERTIPPER. I think it will be a great day and lots of fun and meet people I haven't seen in a while. Ed Naylor Steel Guitar Works.

Here are the directions from the 2002 thread...

Directions: From Cincinnati - I-75 N to I-675 N to route 235 toward Fairborn; one mile to Eagles Club. From Indiana - I-70 East to I-675 S to route 235 toward Fairborn; one mile to Eagles Club.

From MapQuest.com it looks like that Exit 22 off of I-675.

I had a great time yesterday and wanted to publically thank Chubby Howard for putting on a show that keeps getting better each year. It was great see a lot of local players both on stage and in the audience. We all missed Laney Hicks but we sure were glad to see Russ arrive along with Randy Beavers.

I bought CD's by Kenny Holycross, Russ Hicks, Randy Beavers and Sonny Curtis. Keep up the great work guys!

The house band and many others provided a great background to all the steel players, and there were many fine singers who sang their hearts out for us. Thanks to everyone for making it a great day for me, despite losses by both the Bengals and the Redskins.

Hope to see many of you in Lexington next month.
