I will put this listing up again since I do not play the instrument, someone should get the use of it. It is a very fine banjo and sounds wonderful.

Well preserved just like from the factory, Gibson Banjo with extra fine wood, ordered that way from Gibson and paid extra for that wood. A lady ordered this banjo in 2002 for her boyfriend as a surprise and he became unexpectantly ill and passed away. It was, of course, never given as a surprise gift, and just sit in her closet for years. I purchased it in 2008. Since then, this banjo has not even been played out of my non-smoking home. It was never played previous to me buying it.

I have not learned how to play and just want someone who can play it to use it and make some excellent music on it. The tone rivals the Scruggs sound to my ears.

Selling it for what I paid for it.----- $2000.00
no trades.----includes shipping to the 48 states.

Write me on my email with any reasonable offers.

It was purchased new by this lady for about $3500 with the special wood ordered direct from Gibson through a music store in 2002.
----------

I can take charge cards and paypal or bank money order or postal money order.

This instrument is fine in all ways.

No marks on it.

See the pictures as when I received it.
