This guitar belonged to my friend's father. It has not been out of the case in several years. I was able to take some pictures and thought other folks would enjoy seeing them. Very ZB looking insturment.

A strong resemblance to my old Clark Custom, a 1971 model. Started out a beautiful blue and then turned green, but not a bad green.
Jim Clark now owns the guitar.

Drop dead, gorgeous guitar! The slim lines of a classic beauty! When were they made?

When I was going to school in Claremore, Oklahoma, I met Troy Klonz, former steel player for Brooks and Dunn. He was a young man at the time, maybe 14 or 15... We went over to his house once and he showed me a Clark guitar which I think he said his dad was helping build, so they may have been built near Claremore, OK. Troy would hang around the country music school at Claremore College and jam on the steel with music students. He was already a good player at that age. Don't know what he is up to now, I never see him on the Forum.

Larry the Clark Custom guitars were built by Jim Clark in Owasso Ok. from the late sixties to the mid seventies.
Jim still builds a few of the newer generation of Clark guitar, and one heck of a nice man for sure.
