I thought, according to Forum rules, you weren't supposed to post the price of new instruments here. Sad

I thought you could not post discounted prices on new items. Either way I will delete the price... Interested, then contact me for price.

I don't know if that's the case or not, but if it is, it's a rule that makes no sense to me. It's not as if no one cares about the price, right?

There is a reason behind every rule.
Maybe you should contact BOB.

If you are REALLY interested in what's for sale, there is NO problem contacting the seller.Very Happy

But it's equally true that, generically speaking, "rules" can be quite ill-conceived.

IMO, a for-sale ad with no selling price is like a dull tool - next to useless.

Posting of discount retail prices for new merchandise in the Classified Ads section is prohibited. Readers can be directed to call or email for a discount price instead. Prices may be posted for "used" merchandise.

Unless there is another rule posted somewhere else I think Mike was O.K. with his post. That is the retail price, not discounted.

Just my 2 pennies!!

Yes it is one or the other. Mike listed the retail price with no discount. Would you rather pay retail price (full price) or a dicount retail price (below full price)? If he was offering a dicount the rule says contact him directly. No discount=no rule violation. Arrow $4995 is retail-no discount price.

NEVER!! I love both. I narrowed it down to the Zum and Mulllen. I was lucky enough to try a few different guitars and now I like them both equally. Unfortunately I paid retail for both. After talking on the telephone many times with both, I enjoyed meeting both Bruce and Mike in St Louis. I also saw the Blue Mullen for sale. Very nice. And I still have a Franklin under the bed. Very Happy It was also nice to meet and talk with Mr Franklin.

Well, I guess all of us have too much spare time on our hands, to be spending it on such a non-issue as this....BUT...

I'm with Gary. Mike has an instrument for sale (is THAT A PROBLEM?), and Mike wants people to know how much he wants for the instrument (Oh God, are we getting to the problem area here?), c'mon, people..who among us with a rational mind sees a problem with Mike's posting a PRICE (gasps from the crowd) for his instrument?

Jeez.........take a chill-pill, folks.
