On Saturday night I gigged with my new Lap King Rodeo (with Lollar Charie Christian pickups) for the first time:

What a guitar! Such a joy to play. Sorry about the odd mistake here and there, but I hope you will enjoy the sound of the Lap King. Got compliments on both the sound and looks of the guitar after the gig.

Cheers,

Fred

Nice Fred! Minor keys are fun, and it only takes a half-turn of one tuning key.

Looks like a fun trio.

Cheers,
TJW

PS: oh yes -- that is one beautiful (sounding and looking) guitar, too!

Looks like a lot of fun Fred, the playing style with no picks lends a lot to the tone, nice one.

James.

I like that a lot. Good band you have, too.
If you ever tour up this way do let me know: I'd enjoy seeing you guys play. Ach, maybe I should go to Brighton, again - it's a nice town.

Cheers - good stuff!

Great playing, Fred! I enjoyed the tune, your tone and the overall sound of the trio. Loving the sound of the Rodeo, and your solos were great! What are you playing through?

Thanks everyone for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! It's such a wonderful guitar to play!

Iain - yes, Brighton is nice! Smile Look how fun the gig got at the end:

Very Happy

I would love to play in Edinburgh some day!

Peter - the signal chain is Lap King Rodeo > Cmatmods Signa-Drive overdrive pedal (just for a little crunch) > Fender Blues Junior amp.

Cheers,

Fred
