Larry I have owned both. I prefer the LG. IMO the pedal action is smoother and more positive at the stops. The Knee lever action is much better IMO. The tuning issues favor the all pull LG. If the PP is not set up by the proper person the pedal action can be very stiff. Tone wise I can hear abit of difference between them. I prefer the tone of the LG because it seems to me I can change my sound around with the LG but the PP will ALWAYS sound like a PP. Just MO. Fred
