I probably will feel a bit weird writing that date for as long as I live, but be that as it may, I wanted to tell you I will be playing steel and Telecaster for the great Christian Gibbs at the Rodeo Bar this Saturday. We will do two sets, starting around 10PM, featuring all original music in the alt-country style. Christian's music is extremely well crafted, reminds me of a nice watch, the care he takes in writing. He's a great guitar player and singer as well.
The Rodeo Bar is on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 27th Street in scenic Manhattan. I'd love to see some of my forum friends there. Admission is as free.

Scenic Manhattan? I think you've been hanging around Red Hook too long.

Wish I could be there to check it out. Maybe one of these nights we'll meet.
Hey, speaking of Red Hook, I'll be there tonight 9/10, with the Moonlighters at the Liberty Heights Taproom. |
