"Sing Me a Song of Hawaii" I'm searching for the lyrics of this old song, (not to be confused with "Sing Me a Song of the Islands" - or - "Song of Old Hawaii"). I seem to recall RAY KINNEY sang it many years ago... Can anyone dig up the lyrics for me ? Sure would be appreciated !
Starts out: "Sing me a song of Hawaii,
Sing me a sweet melody...."
(rest is lost in my memory) |

INTRO
Sing me a song of Hawaii, Sing me a sweet melody
Sing me a song of Aloha Land, so far across the sea
Where the strains of the songs of the island
Beckon you back to me
Oh sing me a song of my fair Hawaii
Hawaii my home o'er the sea
SOLO
Where the strains of the songs of the island
Beckon you back to me
Oh sing me a song of my fair Hawaii
Hawaii my home o'er the sea
Hawaii my home o'er the sea _________________

Wow! That was FAST ! Thanx loads Baz...really appreciated. I knew the melody line, but antiquity of this olde mind made it a challenge for the lyrics.
That's the great thing about the Forum...someone always comes up with the answers ! |
