I've decided to downsize significantly and am selling (1) a 1973 Silverface Fender Bassman 100 head, (2) a pair of 1x12 cabinets loaded with Peavey 1203-8 speakers and (3) a 2x12 Fred Justice cabinet. (I've decided I can more than meet my limited musical needs with my 1970 Fender Princeton.)

The 1973 Fender Bassman 100 head is $425, local pickup (or meet within a reasonable driving distance of Hartford) only. It's got a terrific tone for steel guitar, but for my needs -- mostly a bedroom picker -- is way more amp than I need (4 6L6 power tubes and 100 watts). Tolex is nice with the usual dings here and there. The original power cord has been with replaced with a 3 prong power cord. I've used it to drive a single 15" 4 Ohm speaker, or alternately a pair of 8 Ohm speakers (see below), for a total load of 4 Ohms. I was told it has the original preamp tubes, and they certainly look old, but I can't confirm that. It does have that lovely Fender sound and I've really enjoyed playing through it.

I also have a pair of 1x12 speaker closed back cabinets loaded with Peavey 1203-8 speakers. I bought these from a Forum member a couple of years ago and they sound great. Cosmetically, they're a bit challenged - definitely been gigged, but the sound is there. Again, local delivery/meet only near or around Hartford. $200 for the pair.

Finally, I have a Fred Justice 2x12 unloaded cabinet in like new condition. Never been out of my music room. Fred's excellent workmanship on display here. This one I will ship Conus. $125 plus shipping.

Paypal fine (add 3%). If you're interested in more than one item (for example, the Fender and the two speakers), we should talk. Thanks for looking. Please contact me through the Forum with questions, etc.
