Does anyone make a course for the E9 in the style of Buddy Cage ( NRPS ) ? I know most of you guys don't like that style of music, and most purists think it's a disgrace, but I for one happen to love it. I'm not really looking to learn too much classic country, I like more of the foot stompin type country. Can anyone help?, of lead me in the right direction? |

Have you tried contacting Buddy for lessons? He lives in NY. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

I don't know that he wouldn't laugh at me, rather than give me lessons.. I can barely put my fingerpicks on correctly.. I do wonder now tho.. also wonder what it would cost.. |

If you are relatively new to the instrument as you imply, this style may prove to be a bit too challenging at this point. For the most part,I find Buddy Cage's solos while not extremely complex to figure out, can prove quite difficult to execute correctly ("Panama Red" is a prime example). A firm foundation in blocking techniques is an absolute necessity. |
