NEW CD WITH MUSIC AND PERSONAL INTERVIEWS!
It's been a fun project, and certainly a labor of love. I have just completed producing a four CD recording project called "Superpickers #1". Not only will you hear some of the favorite songs each great artist has specifically selected from their previous recordings, you will hear extensive interviews made with each artist, and the exclusive interviews are priceless. Each interview covers a full range of topics from their personal lives to personal experiences, and of course, the steel guitar.
This project features: Hall Rugg, Johnny and Joan Cox, David Wright, Junior Knight, Dewitt "Scotty" Scott, Reece and Teresa Anderson, Jay Dee Manness and Tom Brumley.
You can enjoy your favorite instrument being played by some of the greatest artists of our time playing your favorite kind of music on steel guitar, with vocals by Teresa sprinkled in. And yes, there is steel guitar on Teresa's recordings, and you can imagine who that would be. She might even say something on her interview that would give you an inside perspective of Reece, which only a wife would know. You will also hear the artists tell stories about their earliest beginnings and their life experiences. You will enjoy the honest, and at times humorous interaction during every relaxed interview.
These 4 CD's (2 music, and 2 interviews) will provide many happy hours of not only great music, but very entertaining interviews which you will cherish forever, parts of which will possibly answer questions you may have always wanted to ask these great artists.
The "Superpickers #1" project will be available in St.Louis, and I look forward to seeing many of you there and having the opportunity to share what I consider to be a very unique recording project.
I consider it a privilege to have had the opportunity to be with these great artists while producing what I truly believe to be a unique, new and exciting direction which not only offers great music, but provides everyone the opportunity to be up close and personal with each artist.
I look forward to seeing you in St.Louis, or hearing from you soon.
