Time for the annual Joliet survey.

Where do we go on "Steak Night" this year? (aka Red Meat Rendezvous)

* Al's Steakhouse
* Syl's Steakhouse

Also, do we revive the lunchtime field trip to White Castle?

My votes? Syl's (better quality food and it's NOT a buffet - sometimes it's better to pay more money and not have to eat all you can). White Castle - No (two hours after the last White Castle trip my body felt like a toxic waste dump).

Whoa!
And be forewarned. I'm not pickin' up the check this time either. Last year the bill for all those steaks,drinks, etc was $666.62.
This year you're on your own, Guys. Shocked

I kept tell you guys for years that Syl's was best, and you kept telling me that you were sticking with TRADITION (Al's). Oh Well Oh Well

Well, now I am starting to feel heard! Laughing You guys need to listen to your elders. Razz

I will going to Syl's again, if I can find a ride!

Aloha, Smile

I'll put out "Merichka's" for a lunch idea (kind of a haul though). Garlic-butter drenched chopped meat poor boy sandwiches.

Syl's is the place! That chop is to die for.
Agree, no 'sliders', I can say I did it now, but wish I had not Smile
