Hello everyone,

I just finished restoring this Super Pro for Forumite Steve Price from Virginia. He bought the guitar from someone on the east coast and had it shipped to me last year. As you can see in the last "before" photo, the guitar was blonde but Steve wanted a red guitar. AJ Nelson stripped and refinished the cabinet for us a few months ago and did a wonderful job! During that time, I had the hex rods replated and all the aluminum professionally polished. I also replaced five of the stock knee lever brackets with those made by Jeff Surratt.

This one give you an idea of what the guitar looked like "before".

Thanks for taking the time to look Very Happy

Best regards to all,

Lynn

Beautiful!!! How do you handle the "Sho-Bud" and "Super Pro" names when stripping, staining and refinishing?

AJ Nelson, who did the finish work for me, happens to work with Jeff Surratt at Show Pro and between the two of them, they seem to have a good supply of correct Sho~Bud decals to use.

Best regards,

Lynn

This is a dream come true. I met Lynn on the forum and saw one of his restored guitars and could not believe how beautiful it looked. After I placed a wanted ad on the forum, I got lucky with another member finding an unrestored guitar that was for sale, and I jumped at it and sent it right to Lynn and he just out did himself on this one. Now if I could just learn to play the darn thing!!!!. I have not seen it in person yet, but I can't wait for this "new" guitar to get to my house.! Yes RED is my favorite color!!!!All I can say is THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH for this amazing restoration!

Your refinishing job is superb! The finished product looks so much like my lost "Pro". (In the hands of a thief on Dec. 2, 1994.

Congratulations on a beautiful horn.
I predict happiness.
