Man these are some GrEaT! Videos! What an excellent band....I wish I would have been able to see Don Walser before he passed....Scott Walls and Howard Kalish play with the Cornell Hurd Band now...Great guys! Scott is one of my favorite steel players!
Scott is playing E9th....and he plays the Day setup... _________________ '74 Emmons D10 P/P 8x5,'15 Rittenberry D10 8x5, Peavey Nashville 112, 400 & 1000, Fender Twin Reverb Tone Master, Hilton, Goodrich L120, Boss DD-3 and RV-3 |

Scott is a master at getting Csixthsy sounds out of E9.
(Did I just make up a really hard-to-pronounce word?) |

I grew up watching and listening to this band... My grandpa is the bass player in these video's. Scott Walls is a phenominal steel player, and in my opinion, one of the greatest players that many people have never heard about. You ought to heard him speed pick. It's pretty wild. Scott told me he worked at the sho-bud factory with Jeff Surratt when he was a teenager under Duane Marrs. I highly encourage to check out his playing. _________________ Emmons P/P's into the loudest amp I can get ahold of. No effects other than reverb. EVER!. Come catch a show and be sure and say hi! |

It don't get no more country than Don. I enjoyed those. I still haven't run into any of your kinfolks Lee. They must not go to the VFW or the Ford dealership. That's about all I do in Anson. |
