Where else could regular folks like myself coverse with their heros except the Steel Guitar Forum.

I am always impressed and excited when I see someone such as Buddy Emmons, Reece Anderson, Paul Franklin, and others, interact and state their oppinions. I learn every time I get on the Forum.

Thank You, to Bob for the forum and, I really do appreciate it!

you said it Bill.
Im not worthy.

Its incredible that the legends of this instrument wil take the time to converse with us and share their wisdom here on this site. Beyond the big name legends, there is a crew of forum regulars here for whom I have such great respect and admiration. These players have been so generous with their help and knowledge and stories and advice. To all of you, thanks, I hope some day I can give something back, Ive gotten so much here. Thanks doesnt really begin to cover it.

Me to Bill. I was really glad to see some threads here recently (even though they were very depressing) by one of my favorites and one the best teachers and players, Herby Wallace. Herby, please give us some good news. Very Happy

A fact about Bob that I appreciate, is that he will allow discussion even though it may not be very pleasant. Such as dissatisfaction with a particular guitar brand. I've noticed several threads where I expected Bob to quash the discussion, but he allowed it. Even though I'm sure he thought the person complaining showed bad judgement.

From what I've seen Bob is extremely fair, and exhibits a lot of class in running this site.

I also would like to add to this thread , this forum must be the biggest contribution to the steel guitar since the steel guitar was thought of.It must be on a par with all the tab books, CDs, DVDs, for information sharing... Bob SGHOF candidate?
It has brought the "whole world" of steel guitar together sharing ideas and good natured chat and when the chat gets a bit edgy Bob lets it run but when he has to he always seems to step in at just the right moment, superb moderator and the forum is almost as nessesary as having a steel guitar.
