I'm looking for a small PA to put in my practice room. Any used goodies out there for sale? Something like 3 or 4 Mackies, 12-chan Mackie board... and some misc stuff. I'm looking for a used Bass amp too. Object is to have the other band members only need their axe and no amps or PA. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey Jeff,
I've had this stuff forever and haven't used it in yrs and since your post I've had 2 occasions to rent it out so I've decided to hold onto it. It's pretty lean here since Obama told people not to go to Vegas.
I'm still working but there are less gigs and they are more tedious.
Hope the new band is fun for ya!
Your old friend,
Tommy

Tommy,

You'll never guess who called me last night... Derrick Crouch. When he played bass back in the days with the Paradise Pickers, he was a big eater. He sadly lost one leg to diabetes and is on dialysis. He was still in good spirits.

I think Vegas, in time, has more then Obama to worry about. You're in a freakin' desert. [Lack of] Water is a good reason to get out of dodge.

Gary,
Maybe the steel player can use some lessons. :-)
I've been spreading your name around. You need to get up here in Frederick County... its where the work is. I've already used up one entire black magic marker writing your name and number on the carnival ground port-a-pots.

www.JRCOUNTRYBAND.com will be the URL. It is not visible yet, but keep an eye out. Our first appearance will be Sat Aug 29 4-8pm at the Rocky Hill Church Picnic on Coppermine Rd. in Woodsboro, MD. Why don't you come on by?

Jeff, I do, so very much, appreciate your innovative method of referral in an area where networking yields favorable relief...I mean results. I just hope you didn't post your signature by my name, "one hundred and eleven." Laughing

Why would I use 111 when I have an 8x10 photo of you? It's better then fly paper. <G> We've got to stop this. My stomach is hurting. :-)

For starters, thanks to all that emailed me with plenty of equipment to sell. As I was doing some research, I came across a PA that was perfect for a practice environment... and unbelievably priced at $499.00 It's hard to believe how far electronics has come with quality and lower prices.

I just set it up, and couldn't be happier. I plan on keeping it in the basement always setup for practice... so I won't know how it is for a live gig. I am extremely impressed with the bang-for-the-buck factor. Quality is excellent.
