Would appreciate any information as to a fair price for a 1952 Gibson Console Grande D-8. From the available photos, both guitar and case appear to be in excellent condition and seller claims to be the original owner. Thanks for looking. |

Mass Street Music has one available for $1,500. Without seeing photos of the instrument, I'd hesitate to offer a guess other than by referring to previously sold instruments on eBay and those offered by vintage guitar dealers. Check Gbase.com for the few that are currently available. Otherwise get a copy of the 2009 Vintage Guitar Price Guide and see what they say. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Thanks to everyone for the information. This one is listed at $1000.00 and looks almost new. I had considered purchasing it to try my hand at non pedal playing, wanted to be able to recover my initial outlay in case it was not for me. |
