Saturday night I was listening to the Midnite Jamboree and I heard a group that sounded awesome, they're originally from Fort Worth. They are called the Queve Sisters. They were promoting their 2 CDs that they have recorded. Their sound reminds me of the Lennon Sisters when sang. I was totally blown away by their sound - Fiddles, guitar, acoustic bass and drums. They sang Western Swing like it was out of this world. I hope some of you will listen to some of their fine, fine music.

For those in/near Ft Worth, they're at Central Market, Hulen tomorrow evening (Thur). Joey is a great guy, lot's of fun, and killer Fiddler as well.

Herb Steiner first turned me on to the sisters. Herb knows great talent when he hears it. I wish the girls a long and fantastic career. cc
