Just wanted my friends on the forum to know about a new show starting in Conway on Auguat 14th. The "show" part will highlite local talent in an effort to give people a place where they can showcase their singing/playing abilities. The show/dance will be open every Friday and Saturday nights (7:00 'til 10:00) with a Sunday afternoon Gospel Singing. The band consists of twin fiddles (sometimes three), rythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, drums, piano and steel (yours truly has the honor). The facility will accomodate about 300 persons (family atmosphere) at tables w/plush, confortable chairs.
The featured singers are Dixie Harrison (owner) and Voctoria Schafer, both from Nashville. Great entertainers. Let me extend to each of you a personal invitation to stop by if you are in the Conway area (about 30 miles NW of Little Rock on I-40) and say "howdy".
