I am trying to help a freind of mine put a new string in his marlin volume pedal. It is the one that looks like the full bodied sho buds, the first ones. The string was in it incorrectly as it would only turn the pot about 1/2 a turn. Does any one know how the string should be installed, if so could you attach a photo.
Thanks
BIlly

Blackie Taylor runs a steel guitar store in California. He has been in this for years.
I met him in Phoenix, Az. at a SWSG convention.
He is a nice man. He may be familiar with this pedal.
this is his website.

Billy...The marking in this Marlin pedal 5/8/68, appears to be the mfg. date, also by the way is my son's birthdate. I got the pedal in a buy/swap deal so I don't know if if the setup is original. I replaced the pot, and jacks, also made a new pot bracket the one that was in it was a hack job(not original).Hope this helps...Bill
