Well, I have been doing this show for around 20 years now and always enjoy each one. I hope to see many of you there as we need to keep this show going on in Buddy Walker and Charles Reece memories as they spent many years building and promoting this great show.

I had actually planned to come this time, but it turns out that I've got a gig in Northern Ohio on Saturday and I won't get back in time. Sad Have a good one, and make Roger play I'll Sign The Papers. He's the best on that that I've ever heard. Smile

Its on my calendar! I have a Saturday night gig and can't make the jam but plan to come for Sunday. I saw Joe Turner this past Sunday and he and I were talking about the Saluda show. Last time I was there was May 2004! Rob Parker, do you know the words to Deep Water? Laughing

Hey friends,

Just three more weeks, put this one on your calendar. We always have a great time in Saluda, come join us.

Bill C, I knew it had been a while since you were here, but I didn't realize it had been that long. Glad to see you're planning on coming this time.

Rick, I can't believe you'd let a paying gig in Ohio keep you from joining us for all the fun. I know it's a steel guitar show, but I've had a cravin' flung on me for a good fiddle tune or two. We'll miss ya.

It's always a fun day with Ron and Leslie, two of my favorite folks. Getting to share the stage with Ron is also a special treat, he's been one of my favorites for .........well, a long time.

Then, when you add Hall of Famer, Herby Wallace, the now famous Joe Turner, along with all the other great players, we're in for a great day of music. Don't miss this one.

See ya there,

Jim

Why is nobody bumping this??? World-class steelers, Great fellowship, and the Greenville Shriner's hospital is gonna stay open! Health and personal issues necessitate that I'm no longer a staff member, but I'm gonna try and be there to see my buddies! And y'all ought to feel the same way!

This show is probably the most fun you can have with your clothes on. If you can get there for Sat. evening you can watch or join in on a great jam. The staff band is outstanding (except for Wayne S. but he's OK) and you get to jam with some great players. You might even get to pick with Mr Ron or Herby. You never know. Non-stop steel on Sunday with Rob Parker singing and maybe playing steel is always a treat. There are other fine singers that always do some of the best of "real country music".

Wayne's medication is usually sold in large bottles that some refer to a "fifth's", whatever that means?????? If you're nice to him he'll share some with you.

Wayne moved from Manville NJ. It was the asbestos capital of the East coast. Wayne says when he moved from NJ to GA he raised the IQ of both states but I don't believe him.
