In musical terms I hear of someones vocal range being something like E above C or something like that. Using that terminology the BooWah pedal is termed G# below what?
Thanks in advance;

Don't know if this is the question but that C is two octaves below 'middle' C. I forget how to denote that in C1, C2 etc. terms.
And, on E9/B6 it is a G# below B. |

How can a G# = a C? I don't understand. Is it like how an Am can sound right in place of a C because the Am is the relative minor of C? But if the Am is the relative minor to C, then how can the G# also be? _________________ We live to play another day. |

A G# is a Boo Wa below the B on a B6th or E9th/B6th Universal.

I would like to point out that on the E9/B6 tuning, the Boo Wah pedal lowers the low B string down to G#. |

Just in case no one mentions this, on an E9/ B6 the low B is lowered to a G#. |

It's the G# below the 3rd string A of an electric bass guitar or acoustic double bass. It's technically named G#1 or Ab1, and its pitch (in ET) is approximately 51.91 Hz.
On C6th it's the steak sauce pedal (A1). _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
