Hi Guys
I have a Super Pro with the old Grover pegs on it. They tend to have a bit of back play on them and I'd like to replace them with some low profile modern pegs. Are there any available that will fit the original screw holes and reach across the head thickness ( Bud heads have quite a depth of metal) or will I have to put up with the screw holes showng. I have a spare Sho-Bud head with a set of Sperzel machines on it and while they fit etc, they show the old screw holes.
Thanks
Barry

Barry, I replaced the heads on my Pro 1 with 18:1 Grovers. The higher gear ratio makes for really easy/accurate tuning, and they dropped right in, of course. The G# and B didn't even need to be cut, for some reason as well.
