Hi guys, I have cabinets that I need 15" speakers for. I was hoping there might be some available.

I'm looking for a pair of Evans Eclipse, JBL D130, Peavey 1501-8 or Webb. I might also consider the Fender Custom 15, EV or Jensen if they are rated at 200 watts or more at 8 or 4 ohms.

I might also be looking for a set of 8 ohm Celestion Vintage 30's or Greenbacks.

Thanks,
God Bless,
Michael T.

Got a few replies so far. I am quite familiar with the Peavey 1501-4.

Could anyone elaborate on their experience with the JBL E-140 and Eminence Kappalite, please?

Also, has anyone used an Electro Voice EVM 15 L?

If I purchase one speaker, it will probably go in my Fender Dual Showman Reverb amp where an Evans Eclipse lived until a few days ago when I discovered that the magnet was fractured. I thought I fried the amp!!! Thank God it was only the speaker!!!

If I find a good matched pair, I will probably put them in my Evans Tweed Cabinets.

Thanks,
Michael T.

Hi guys I have 2 mint condition peavey 1502-8 kapalite speakers that came out of a pa setup. I want to trade even up for a pair of jbl d-130-4 ohm speakers.I have a pair of jbls but they need reconed and I dont have the money for that , so I would like to do a trade. I tried these out with my rack setup and they worked great . But I just would rather have the d130s instead. email me at caddiman58@sbcglobal.net

I am holding out for a JBL D-130F, the Fender one. Were any of these painted orange or am I dreaming?

Thanks to all for your suggestions, sorry I'm not interested in the 1502 Peaveys. They are too dark for my taste. The speaker I want should have a smooth cone instead of ridged, unless it is an Evans. I don't know about the Webb yet.

I may put this on the back burner for now so I can get a Peavey Powerslide. We'll see...

Good luck to everyone looking for D-130's. They haven't been very easy to come by...

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I have decided to sell the Evans tweed cabs unloaded and found a Peavey Session 500 that I want.

Please close.
