When you're in NYC for the CBGB's gig, check out Marion's Continental Restaurant and Lounge:
http://marionsnyc.com/

It's three streets uptown and on the opposite side of Bowery from CBGB's. Good food, good martinis, decent prices, nice scene. I love that place!

Ron,

Yes, Joe and I will do a set together (and a set each solo). I look forward to seeing you there.

And Mark, thanks for the advice. I'll check out Marion's Continental.

Just an FYI, for all the folks around here: Subtonic is the name for the downstairs lounge at "Tonic"...

Sounds like an incredible show... I'm curious to hear steel with tables and percussion! I know the main space at tonic better, and it's a good spot... lots of interesting stuff going on over there, if you guys haven't checked it out before, now's your opportunity.

Susan,

Best of luck on these gigs. I enjoy your album "Uma" and am glad to see that people like you are pushing steel into new directions.

This is a short bump for my two performances in New York City. The concert at CBGB's will be at 7PM; I'll be playing a duo with Joe Giardullo, an incredible saxophonist/musician.

If you can make it out, please say hello.
