Not sure if this is the place to post this??? Is there anyone who can convert an old Bruce Bouton VHS tape to DVD? My VHS player is very temperamental now a days and I would like to re-visit this material,,,,of course, if someone made 2 copies and kept one for themselves there would be nothing I could do about that????

Sonny, I had the same thing done for me on one of my VHS tapes. I did it locally.

Check your phone book--these services are pretty common.

In the meantime, I'll check to see if this guy is still in business for you.

I can do it for you. If you send me the video, I will send you back the video and a DVD backup copy for your viewing pleasure.

Hey thanks Leroy! I looked under "videos",,,didn't see anything that looked like that. Found a classification for data recovery,,,maybe I'll call them Monday and see if they know of a place locally.

If you are going to pay to have someone transfer it, you might as well just buy a used one off ebay for ten bucks or maybe someone on here has a used dvd they can sell you. They are gonna charge you 25 or 30 bucks to do the transfer.

Hey Brian,,,,thanks a million!!! I mentioned this to my son (who lives a more technically oriented world than I do) and he said he would either do it for me,,,or have a friend do it.

No problem Sonny. I figured you'd be able to find someone local with a DVD recorder.
