As the title implies: I need your help. I thought I had drawn it up properly but I guess not.
How do I rout the string that turns the volume shaft? The only way I can see how is once around the shaft ccw and then under the shaft to hook the loop to the spring that hooks to the rear string. But doing it that way, I have way to much string left over!

Help needed!
Thanks

When replacing the pot, it's easier just ot remove the 2 screws and take the pot and mount out of the pedal.

Also there is a Youtube video of how to replace the string and spring in an Ernie Ball pedal.

Notice in the video as he is wrapping the pulley he is sticking his hand in the side of the pedal.

Which is great if your pedal has the entire side milled off like his... LOL

That is why I find it much easier to remove the mount to release the spring tension and get the pulley in a more accessible position.

Although the string is tricky to do I really like the nice long travel of the EB as compared to goodrich and hilton
